Refurb seller grades

Not all used-GPU sellers are equal. We grade the major refurbishers and marketplaces on the things that actually protect you when you're spending four figures on a used card.

Grades are unrated until we have real buyer reports. We refuse to publish a made-up reliability score. The criteria below are live now; ratings fill in as the community submits verified experiences.

How we grade

  • Testing & QA claims (does each card get bench-tested?)
  • Return / RMA window and how painless it is in practice
  • Warranty length on used/refurb GPUs
  • VBIOS / authenticity transparency (do they disclose flashed cards?)
  • Shipping protection (anti-static, foam, insured)
  • Price competitiveness vs. eBay sold-listings
  • Buyer-reported reliability (our community reports)

  • !Distinguish 'Newegg-refurbished' from third-party 'used'.

eBay (vetted sellers)

Unratedmarketplace

Watch for
  • !Buy from established sellers with high feedback on GPU sales specifically.
  • !Use eBay sold-listings to sanity-check price; treat far-below-market as a counterfeit signal.
  • !eBay Money Back Guarantee covers not-as-described — keep all GPU-Z/nvidia-smi screenshots.
